On July 16, 2026, Gain Therapeutics, Inc. (the
“Company”) issued a press release and shareholder letter in which it announced, among other things, that its current cash
and cash equivalents are anticipated to fund the Company’s operations into the second quarter of 2027, based on current operating
plans, including the completion of the Phase 1b open-label extension in October 2026 and initiation of a Phase 2 clinical study during
the third quarter of 2026.
