The country's light vehicle fleet has reached a historic peak of 51,512,551 units, signaling long-term opportunities for the global automotive aftermarket.

The study analyzed the light vehicle population across all 26 states and the Federal District. Data shows the fleet continues to expand while reaching an average age of 13.6 years—a primary driver for service and parts demand. While maturing, Brazil's average vehicle age remains below the 16.2-year average IDF recently recorded for Mexico.

"While Chinese makes and EVs arrive fast, legacy giants like Fiat (21.3%), Volkswagen (20.1%), and Chevrolet (18.0%) still control nearly 60% of total VIO and will dominate parts demand for the foreseeable future."
