Casinos.com Calls on Card Game Fans for GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS(TM) title Attempt LAS VEGAS, NV / ACCESS Newswire / November 2, 2026 / Casinos.com will be launching a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title attempt for the Most Participants for an Online ‘Higher or Lower' Card Competition in One Month this November. The attempt begins online on November 1 and spans the entire month, with at least 8,500 unique registered players needed to secure the record. The player with the longest streak on the live leaderboard at the end of the month will win a trip for two to Las Vegas, Nevada valued at approximately $5,000.

Higher or Lower is one of the simplest card games there is. Players are shown a card and guess whether the next card drawn will be higher or lower. Every correct call extends the streak, and one wrong guess ends the run.

The game is entirely free to play at casinos.com/higher-or-lower-card-game. Players can take part as many times as they like throughout November to climb the leaderboard, and the top 10 at the end of the month will all win prizes including the grand prize of a trip to Vegas. Every registered player that plays will also become part of the record attempt themselves, marking a unique opportunity to be part of history.

Every Player Counts

Unlike most record attempts, this title is not about one person's skill. It is measured by how many people take part, so every new player counts towards the official record attempt.

"Most world records are set by one person. This one only happens if thousands of people decide to get involved, and that's what makes it special," said Colm Phelan, Casinos.com Brand Director.

"Everyone has played Higher or Lower at some point, whether at the kitchen table or watching it on a game show. We wanted to take something that simple and turn it into a moment that our reader can be part of. If you've got a few minutes in November, play a round, put your name on the leaderboard and help us make history."

A Trip to Las Vegas for the Longest Streak

While the record counts participants, the competition is all about the streak. The player holding the longest streak on the leaderboard when the competition closes on November 30 wins a trip for two to Las Vegas, with prizes for the rest of the top 10.

"We wanted to give back to those that help us potentially achieve the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title, so the top 10 in the leaderboard will all win prizes, with first place bagging a bucket-list trip to Las Vegas for two people," added Phelan.

How It Works

How the Record Will Be Verified

Every participating account will be logged with a unique username, time of play and score. That data will be compiled into a digital forensic report and reviewed by an independent digital auditing professional, and two independent witnesses will confirm the final total before the evidence is submitted.

The result will be announced once GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS has reviewed the evidence and confirmed the outcome.
