Arlo Announces Secure 7 Smart Security Service with New AI-Powered Features to Help Users Stay Ahead of Potential Threats Threat Assessment and Arlo Summary Provide Greater Insight and Proactive Protection, Strengthening Arlo Secure Early Warning System's Comprehensive Capabilities

CARLSBAD, Calif., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Arlo Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ARLO), a leading provider of smart home security services, today announced Arlo Secure 7, the latest evolution of its AI-powered smart security service. Arlo Secure 7 introduces two new AI-powered features – Threat Assessment and Arlo Summary – alongside user experience improvements and a new 24/7 video recording plan. Together with the Arlo Secure Early Warning System's existing AI-powered detection and intelligence capabilities, these updates give users greater context, awareness and control over their home security.

Arlo Summary provides an easy-to-understand recap of important activity from the past 24 hours, while Threat Assessment identifies urgent, high-risk situations — such as break-ins, fire, armed threats, or theft— and automatically initiates the appropriate response based on the event. From active deterrence by turning on the camera's siren or spotlight, to autonomously contacting a live Safety Agent, Threat Assessment ensures action within seconds.

"We saw an industry-wide need for sharper insights, faster awareness, and proactive escalation to reduce response time when consumers need it most," said Matthew McRae, Chief Executive Officer at Arlo. "With the addition of Threat Assessment, the Arlo Secure Early Warning System is more intuitive and actionable than ever before, delivering a smarter, safer home security experience for the millions who rely on Arlo for protection."

The following new features will roll out to Arlo Secure Early Warning System customers over the next month:
