Duke Energy restores more than 171,000 outages across Greater Cincinnati, repairs continue as company works to determine restoration times CINCINNATI, Aug. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Over the past 24 hours, Duke Energy workers have restored power to more than 171,000 customers across Greater Cincinnati despite multiple rounds of severe weather, fallen trees, road closures and extensive damage to the electric system.
