CPKC and IBEW agree to binding arbitration ending strike CALGARY, AB, Aug. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Canadian Pacific Kansas City (TSX: CP) (NYSE: CP) ( CPKC) said today that the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Canadian Signals and Communications System Council No. 11 (IBEW) has agreed to enter into binding arbitration and bring the strike initiated on May 31 to an end.

The IBEW represents approximately 300 Signals & Communications employees across Canada.

We welcome our employees back to work beginning Monday morning, Aug. 24.
