SCE Extends More Than 500 Offers for Eaton Fire Recovery in Just Over 100 Days
ROSEMEAD, Calif.--( BUSINESS WIRE)--Southern California Edison today announced a major milestone in the Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program, with more than 500 compensation offers extended to individuals and businesses impacted by the Eaton Fire. The program is designed to offer compensation in line with settlement values for similar claims in past wildfire lawsuits, with a more streamlined and much faster approach than litigation. In just 108 days since launching, relief offered to claimants through the program now exceeds $165 million.
“We know how deeply the Eaton Fire affected the community. This program is one way we’re working with clarity and compassion to support those impacted and help them move forward,” said Pedro J.
