The Nevada rehab has added this virtual option for individuals who wish to continue their care at home after completing another program or who may otherwise not be able to attend a treatment program in person due to distance, time, or personal responsibilities.

Nevada sees large numbers of people struggling with addiction. In fact, recent data show that while overdose numbers across the nation dropped significantly, Nevada numbers aren’t dropping at the same rate. “The sluggish rate that we’re seeing overdoses drop in our state is indicative of the need for additional treatment services,” said Dr. Westbrook Kaplan, Medical Director at Desert Hope Treatment Center. “This program brings not only another treatment option to our community but offers flexible at-home care for those who are unable or unwilling to attend an in-person program.”
