Marquis Who's Who Honors Stan Schekall for Leadership in Engineering and Technology
UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / April 9, 2026 / Marquis Who's Who honors Stan Schekall for his leadership in electronics engineering and technology innovation. As chief executive officer and engineering project lead at GF Hi-Tech, Mr. Schekall has spent more than 30 years developing advanced electronic systems and computing technologies. His work spans circuit design, embedded computing and emerging artificial intelligence applications that are shaping the future of modern electronics.
About Stan Schekall
Mr. Schekall has built a career focused on combining traditional electronics with advanced computing systems. His career reflects a strong interest in solving complex technical problems and developing tools that make modern technology more capable and accessible.
Serving as chief executive officer and engineering project lead at GF Hi-Tech since 2016, Mr. Schekall works closely with clients on projects that require advanced circuit design, software development and system integration. Daily tasks involve designing circuit boards, writing software and managing projects that combine hardware and computing technologies.
One of Mr. Schekall's most notable achievements occurred during his work with Jasper Display around 2020. He developed a compact system capable of handling HDMI video processing using a single field-programmable gate array chip. The system enabled real-time image processing through a simple HDMI connection to a display. Its compact design and flexibility made it a useful development tool for engineers and contributed to the company's acquisition.
In addition, Mr. Schekall continues to contribute to advanced technology projects. He is currently consulting on a government spacecraft microsatellite project with Redwire, a company under contract to NASA. In this project, he is responsible for designing systems that allow the satellite to operate with artificial intelligence. The goal is to create a spacecraft that can manage many of its own functions while in orbit.
Mr. Schekall has also contributed to accessibility technology through his involvement in the Wheelchair Project, a mobility device. Working with Method Mobility, he helped design a wheelchair that allows users to steer and move simply by leaning. The design is intended to support individuals with limited hand movement, including those with paraplegia.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Schekall served as a senior staff engineer at Evans Analytical Group and Nano Integrated Solutions. He also worked as an independent contractor for Qualcomm, supporting advanced communication and engineering projects. Other former experiences include engineering roles at Intrinsix, Seagate Technology and Lockheed Missiles and Space.
A Commitment to Innovation
While working at Seagate Technology, Mr. Schekall earned a patent in 1995 for correcting header information in magnetic disk drives. This invention reflects his long-standing interest in improving the reliability and performance of electronic systems.
Mr. Schekall earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is also a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and has written technical articles published through the institute.
Outside of his professional work, Mr. Schekall enjoys spending time with his children. Looking ahead, he expects artificial intelligence to play an increasingly important role in electronic systems. His work continues to focus on helping computers manage and control complex technologies more effectively.
