Roborax.AI Targets the Embodied AI Data Bottleneck for U.S. Robotics Companies Omind.AI portfolio brand, backed by Fusion CX, provides teleoperation, demonstration, and annotation data to U.S. robotics developers.

ATLANTA, GA / ACCESS Newswire / August 4, 2026 / Roborax.AI, an Omind.AI portfolio brand backed by Fusion CX, a global customer experience transformation partner, provides embodied AI training data to U.S. robotics developers. The company collects and labels the real-world interaction data used to train and validate physical AI systems, addressing a data constraint in robotics development.

The International Federation of Robotics reported that 542,000 industrial robots were installed worldwide in 2024, more than double the total a decade earlier, with the global operational stock reaching about 4.66 million units. Systems that operate in physical environments are trained on recorded interaction data - sensor streams, demonstrations, and teleoperation logs - collected in real settings rather than drawn from public web text.

Roborax collects and labels data to each customer's specification across the Fusion CX delivery network, which spans 41 centers in 12 countries. The company provides seven data services: teleoperation, human demonstration, multimodal sensor capture, annotation and labeling, synthetic and sim-to-real generation, evaluation benchmarks, and long-tail edge-case capture. Customers select among three delivery models: dedicated operator teams, a distributed crowdsourced network, or a hybrid of the two. Roborax collects on customer hardware or its own, across humanoid, bimanual, mobile manipulation, industrial, aerial, and simulation platforms.

"The teams building physical AI are constrained by data, not ambition," said Pankaj Dhanuka, Co-Founder and CEO of Fusion CX. "Real-world interaction data is collected deliberately - by people, to a specification. It is operational work as much as technical work."

Data produced for a customer remains that customer's property and is not used to train another client's model. Roborax maintains a four-week ramp from a signed statement of work to a first production data batch. For regulated U.S. programs, the company operates under SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST, and GDPR frameworks, and collects teleoperation data for surgical and medical robotics customers through clinician operators under HIPAA-compliant handling. Programs draw on the Fusion CX workforce of more than 20,000 employees.

"Robotics teams do not have a modeling problem - they have a data problem," said Kishore Saraogi, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Fusion CX. "The data that teaches a robot to fold a shirt or unload a trailer is collected in the physical world, by trained operators, to a precise specification. That is structured, operator-driven work Fusion CX has run at scale for years."

Roborax.AI is headquartered in Norcross, Georgia, and is part of the Omind.AI portfolio of AI brands.
