Sherwin-Williams Celebrates Grand Opening of Expanded Statesville Manufacturing Facility Strategic investment strengthens manufacturing capacity, supply chain responsiveness and customer service across North America

CLEVELAND, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE: SHW) today hosted a ceremonial ribbon-cutting celebrating the grand opening of its expanded architectural paint and coatings manufacturing facility in Statesville, North Carolina. The Statesville manufacturing facility is now Sherwin-Williams largest plant in North America.

The expansion represents the culmination of years of planning, construction and collaboration. It strengthens Sherwin-Williams manufacturing, distribution and logistics capabilities, positioning the Company to better serve customers for years to come. With nearly 50,000 square feet of improvements, the facility includes expanded production space, automation enhancements, four new rail spurs and related infrastructure that streamline material handling and improve operational efficiency.

This project adds significant manufacturing capacity and enhanced logistics capabilities to support growing customer demand. The site also complements Sherwin-Williams nearby distribution service center, a new hub connecting production, transportation and distribution to the Company's global operations.

This investment reflects the strength of a public-private partnership between Sherwin-Williams and the state of North Carolina, Iredell County and the City of Statesville, which include approved incentives in support of the project.
