Sir Clean® Expands Mold Shield™ to Support Environmental Health and Property Resilience
The Florida-based company is adding continuous property monitoring and annual condition reports while developing the Sir Clean® Connect platform.
MIAMI BEACH, FL / ACCESS Newswire / June 22, 2026 / Sir Clean Corp, a Florida environmental remediation and sanitation company operating under the registered Sir Clean® brand, announced the expansion of Mold Shield™, a prevention and property-monitoring initiative focused on moisture conditions, mold risks, water damage awareness, and indoor environmental concerns.
Mold Shield™ is structured as an ongoing program rather than a one-time inspection. It combines scheduled monitoring, preventive education, annual property-condition reports, follow-up communication, and coordination with qualified professionals when additional evaluation is appropriate.
The program is intended for homeowners, property managers, condominium associations, real estate professionals, prospective buyers, and organizations seeking a more consistent way to track moisture-related conditions over time.
"Property conditions can change after an inspection because of humidity, storms, plumbing problems, roof leaks, ventilation issues, and aging building systems," said Andrea Cadelano, founder of Sir Clean Corp. "Mold Shield™ creates a continuing record that allows owners to review changes, follow recommendations, and respond when new concerns appear."
Monitoring Beyond a Single Inspection
A traditional inspection documents conditions observed on a specific date. Mold Shield™ adds scheduled follow-up and an annual report summarizing relevant observations, reported concerns, recommendations, and changes identified during the monitoring period.
The annual report is intended to support property maintenance and communication among homeowners, managers, contractors, real estate professionals, and insurance-related professionals. It does not replace a licensed mold assessment, home inspection, engineering report, appraisal, insurance inspection, claim investigation, or legally required property disclosure.
The program also provides education about moisture warning signs, humidity, water intrusion, ventilation, storm-related risks, and circumstances that may require additional professional evaluation.
Sir Clean Corp developed the initiative in response to recurring conditions affecting properties in Florida and other Southeastern states, including elevated humidity, severe weather, flooding, water intrusion, and aging infrastructure.
Earlier identification of moisture conditions can give property owners an opportunity to investigate the source and determine an appropriate response before conditions become more extensive.
Property Documentation and Insurance-Related Communication
Mold Shield™ includes annual property-condition reporting designed to provide homeowners with a more organized record of observed conditions and preventive recommendations.
This documentation can support maintenance planning and communication when a leak, storm event, water intrusion, or recurring moisture concern is reported. It can also provide insurance-related professionals with additional background regarding previously documented conditions and actions taken by the property owner.
Mold Shield™ is not an insurance product. It does not determine coverage, establish the date or cause of a loss, guarantee that a claim will be approved, or replace an insurer's investigation.
Its role is limited to prevention-focused monitoring, education, documentation, and service coordination. By maintaining a clearer property history, homeowners can track concerns and determine when further inspection or professional intervention is appropriate.
Support for Realtors and Homebuyers
The program is also intended to complement the due-diligence process for real estate professionals, sellers, and prospective buyers.
Moisture and mold concerns are not always visible during a property viewing. Signs such as staining, odors, elevated humidity, recent repairs, or evidence of prior water intrusion can require further evaluation.
Mold Shield™ can provide additional monitoring and documentation before or after a transaction. The program does not replace a licensed home inspection, mold assessment, seller disclosure, appraisal, or other required real estate service.
"Our objective is not to conduct one visit and end the relationship," Cadelano said. "We want property owners and buyers to have a structured way to review conditions over time and respond when something changes."
