First Payment Made in Southern California Edison’s Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program

ROSEMEAD, Calif.--( BUSINESS WIRE)--Community members directly impacted by the Eaton Fire are getting compensation without delay to rebuild and recover. Just 45 days after Southern California Edison launched its Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program, the first payment has been made.

To date, over 1,500 claims have been submitted. Offers have been extended and accepted. More payments will be made by year-end.

On average, it takes about 90 minutes to complete the claim form. Participation in the program is completely voluntary. Claims can be submitted until Nov. 30, 2026.
