AMPLIFY Presenters to Lead Miami-Dade Trial Lawyers Association (MDTLA) CLE on How AI Is Changing the Way the Public Finds Trial Lawyers MIAMI, Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Miami-Dade Trial Lawyers Association (MDTLA) will host a CLE webinar on September 16, 2026, featuring AMPLIFY executives Aron Solomon, JD, Chief Strategy Officer, and Bridget Mercuri, PR & Earned Media Director, who will examine how artificial intelligence is changing the way prospective clients discover and evaluate trial lawyers.

Titled “ The AI Searchquake: How Technology-Mediated Discovery Is Changing How the Public Finds Legal Services — and What That Means for Trial Lawyers,” the one-hour program will explore how generative AI systems, Google AI Overviews and answer-engine platforms are transforming legal services discovery.

As consumers increasingly receive AI-generated answers before ever visiting a law firm’s website, lawyers face a new reality: visibility is no longer determined solely by traditional search rankings. AI systems may draw on journalism, litigation reporting, public records and other third-party sources when generating information about attorneys and law firms.

The program will examine what this shift means for plaintiff trial lawyers, particularly those practicing in competitive markets such as Miami-Dade County.

“Technology is changing how people discover lawyers, but it isn’t changing the professional responsibilities lawyers have for the information associated with their practices,” said Solomon. “Understanding how AI-mediated discovery works is becoming an important part of practicing and marketing law in the modern environment.”

Mercuri will focus on the evolving role of PR and earned media, including how verdict coverage, legal journalism, business publications and expert commentary can contribute to how lawyers are represented across digital and AI-driven platforms.

“As AI increasingly becomes a layer between the public and the information they’re looking for, third-party credibility matters,” said Mercuri. “Lawyers need to think beyond traditional search rankings and consider whether the information available about them is accurate, consistent and supported by credible sources.”

The CLE will cover:

The program will also examine professional-responsibility considerations surrounding AI-generated summaries, including advertising compliance, comparative claims, past results, specialization language and internal review procedures.

Attendees will leave with practical frameworks for managing visibility, reducing reputational risk and developing compliance-conscious communications systems for the modern plaintiff practice.
