Honda and the Honda USA Foundation Now Accepting Applications for Programmatic Funding to Support Nonprofits TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Honda and the Honda USA Foundation today opened applications for 2027 programmatic funding awards supporting high-impact programs that align with the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) vision to help people fulfill their life's potential. All programmatic funding applications from eligible nonprofit organizations and schools must be received by October 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time, with decisions to be announced in spring of 2027.

In 2026, Honda and the Honda USA Foundation contributed more than $15 million to organizations aligned with key pillar award categories. For this current cycle, Honda will offer funding opportunities through the Education, Environment, and Traffic Safety pillars. The Honda USA Foundation will offer funding opportunities through the Mobility pillar.

Education

Honda aims to create pathways to opportunity and help people develop the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in an evolving workforce.

Through this award, Honda supports programs that strengthen the future manufacturing talent pipeline by building career awareness, developing technical competencies, and preparing individuals for success in advanced manufacturing environments.

Environment

Honda is driving meaningful environmental progress to create a sustainable society where people can enjoy life.

Through this award, Honda supports community-based programs that advance environmental stewardship focused on carbon reduction, clean energy education, and natural resource conservation. These efforts support healthier communities and help protect the environment for future generations.

Traffic Safety

Honda is committed to achieving zero traffic collisions involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles by 2050, through a human-centered approach to safety.

Through this award, Honda supports community-based programs that build the knowledge, behaviors, and resources needed to help prevent injuries and improve traffic safety outcomes to create safer roads for everyone.

Mobility

The Honda USA Foundation envisions a world where each person is empowered to dream and fulfill their own life's potential.

To advance the joy and freedom of mobility, the Foundation supports programs that seek to remove barriers so that individuals with disabilities can experience greater independence, access, and participation in everyday life. Programs must target and serve individuals with disabilities.
