LONDON, UK / ACCESS Newswire / August 13, 2026 / Corporate Update
Identifai Ltd, a UK-based artificial intelligence company building intelligent automation for the financial services sector, today provides the market with a strategic update covering product development, commercial partnerships, institutional engagement, and fundraising. Each development reported below materially advances the Company's position since its last public announcement in March 2026.
Key Points
The Company has entered Stage 6 of 8 in its product development cycle. Stage 6 is the compliance and security layer - the critical infrastructure required for regulated financial environments. Its commencement places Identifai two stages from a commercially deployable platform built for enterprise adoption across UK financial institutions, and reflects the Company's consistent prioritisation of institutional readiness over speed to market.
For the first time, Identifai discloses quantitative benchmark results for its AI engine. On an internal financial benchmark - measuring financial reasoning, formula generation, and document comprehension inside live workbooks - Identifai scored 6.9 out of 10, against 5.5 for Claude and 2.5 for ChatGPT. The Company also recorded approximately 48% on OSWorld, a recognised independent benchmark for AI agents operating real software environments. A model purpose-built for finance, operating in the environment finance runs in, outperforms general-purpose AI on the work that matters. These results demonstrate that.
The downloadable build of Identifai spanning Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word - first disclosed to shareholders in April 2026 - is now available to install. What was a roadmap commitment is now executable software. A user can today build a financial model in Excel, generate the presentation from it in PowerPoint, and draft the accompanying memorandum in Word, with one engine underneath all three.
Through its membership of NVIDIA's Inception programme, a number of SaaS and software companies within NVIDIA's ecosystem have independently approached the Company regarding integration of Identifai's capabilities into their own products. NVIDIA's infrastructure is in active use to accelerate model development at preferential rates. At Identifai's stage, inbound interest of this kind - from established software businesses approaching the Company rather than the reverse - is a meaningful signal.
The Company's waitlist has exceeded 23,000 pre-launch registrations. Every one of those individuals provided their details unprompted, before a single paid advertisement has run, and before Spreadsheet Wars places the Company on a public stage. The channel partnerships described in March 2026 as the route to over 200,000 UK financial professionals are confirmed and multiple. The largest can be named for the first time: Countingup, with whom discussions are in their final stages. These partnerships represent direct, credentialed access to the professional audience Identifai is built for - access that would normally require years and significant capital to establish independently.
The third funding round at £3.12 per Ordinary A share is now closed. The fourth round opens at £4.82 per share - a 382% cumulative increase from the inaugural seed price of £1.00. The Company is in advanced discussions with Haatch Fund, an established EIS fund specialising in high-quality software businesses, regarding their intention to take the fourth round in full. An institutional, diligence-led fund backing Identifai at £4.82 per share would represent a categorically different order of external validation from anything the Company has announced to date. Spreadsheet Wars, the Company's public launch event, is confirmed for February 2027. NVIDIA's branding and partnership are expected to feature on the live broadcast. Every person watching will be able to download and use Identifai on the day.
Commenting on today's update, George Croitor, CEO of Identifai, said:
"Every announcement we have made has been a statement of direction. Today's update is a statement of arrival. The compliance layer is underway. The product runs across the full Office Suite. The benchmarks are published. The waitlist has passed 23,000 without a single paid advertisement. And we are in advanced discussions with an institutional fund that has done its diligence and likes what it sees. None of this has happened by accident - it has happened because we built the right thing and refused to cut corners getting it there. Spreadsheet Wars is confirmed for February. Between now and then, every piece falls into place."
