AdaptHealth Investigation Details

On August 5, 2026, AdaptHealth Corp. shares fell as much as 26% after the Company reported second-quarter revenue of $740.3 million, well below the approximately $847 million expected, a GAAP loss driven in part by a $144.2 million goodwill impairment charge, and a substantial reduction to full-year guidance. Adjusted EBITDA came in at $132 million for the quarter, against roughly $160 million expected. Alongside those results, AdaptHealth reset its 2026 continuing-operations outlook to approximately $2.85 billion to $2.89 billion in revenue and $490 million to $520 million in adjusted EBITDA - a decline of roughly 16% to 19% from the guidance figures the Company had carried just weeks earlier.
